We pride ourselves on providing seriously good food for both children and adults.
The children's food is all cooked fresh - a healthy mix of carbohydrates, fresh vegetables and protiens - plus delicious deserts. Cooking for the children is one of the hardest things we do - and it is important that we get it right and make sure all our guests' children are well fed whilst staying with us. We have even had successes where parents have failed - eating cabbage (!), fish (!) and other exotic things!
For the adult guests we create a new menu every season, both winter and summer.
This winter the week's menu was like a world food tour! In addition to firm favourites such as the local dish Tartiflette, we went on around the world featuring dishes from such places as South America, Southern United States, Japan and Thailand, with meals such as Duck with a wine and chocolate sauce, Pork Terriyaki, Aubergine Terrine and a super dessert of Apple and Apricot Tart with a Merliton sauce.
Summer menus tend to be lighter yet still refreshingly different and tasty.
We can cater for all dietary requirement from vegetarian, no red meat or dairy - just let us know in advance.
This year Nick produced his own recipe book based on over 150 recipes he has cooked during the last 8 years. Offering it to guests as a e-mail document and asking for donations to our supported charity "A chacun son Everest" (a charity which helps children with cancer achieve the goals outside of battling against their illness) we raised 330€.
